DescriptionAugustus Walton, who hailed from England`s Lake District, farmed on "Mimosa" in the Paterson district. "Mimosa" is now part of the Addo Elephant Park. One of his 12 children, Mildmay (Noel`s grandfather) purchased the farm "Tregaron" in the Sundays River Valley in 1894. It was subsequently divided between his 3 sons. Noel`s father, Ralph Wolfe Walton chose the name Lupus Den ("the home of the wolf") for his portion. Noel now farms the land together with his elder son, Adrian - the fourth generation to farm on "Lupus Den". * Guests may relax in a private lounge where they can enjoy the cosy warmth of a log fire on a winter's night. * Swim, or simply cool off after a hot day, in the pool. * Spend time bird-watching in our tree-filled garden searching for the Blackheaded Oriole, whose melodious call can be heard more often than it can be seen flitting from one tall tree to another. * DSTV available in our spacious living room. * Sip sundowners on our vine-covered patio or in our private guest lounge. * Enjoy hearty farmhouse breakfasts, light lunches and candlelit, 3-course, dinners * At leisure, select mementoes or greeting cards from the South African range Accommodation Our HOMESTEAD offers 3 en suite bedrooms: Room 1: Double room with standard double bed, en suite bathroom with bath and shower, own entrance & patio.
