Situated in KwaZulu Natal, South Africa's Premier Scuba Diving and Deep Sea Fishing Paradise, lies Mseni, Home of Amoray Diving, the beach and the discerning holiday maker.

Mseni Lodge is situated in . It consists of twenty cabins with bathrooms and showers en-suite. All rooms have safety deposit boxes for your convenience. On arrival a porter will take your luggage to your room and store your dive gear, ready for us to pick it up the next day. After your dive, it will be taken again, washed and hung up, ready for diving the next day. There is a secure parking area and round the clock security.

This small Lodge with its personal service is situated amongst amazing dune forest vegetation and far away from the crowds. The restaurant and bar overlook the Indian Ocean and day and night the sound of the sea can be heard by all. There is a large safe area for the kids to play. Every care is taken to ensure your and your family's comfort.

The Lodge has it's own private path leading down to a secluded part of the beach, meandering through lush coastal dune forest. This short walk is a must for all visitors. The surrounding bush is home to many different bird species and other small animals.

This is the only place in Sodwana with direct beach access.

Our beautiful 80-seater Restaurant, overlooking the Indian Ocean, is open for breakfast from 06h00 to 11h00, lunch from 12h30 till 15h00 and supper from 18h30 till 22h00. Our friendly waiters are there to look after your every need. The Bar, with it's spectacular view, opens at 12h00 till 00h00 and will have something ice cold to suit your taste. Sit back & enjoy one of our custom designed cocktails while we do our activity planning for the next day. Watch the full moon rise over the Indian Ocean, while we discuss the day's diving.

Located in Sodwana Bay, North of Kwa Zulu Natal, Mseni Lodge offers you comfortable lodge style catered and self catering accommodation, just a short walk or drive from the main beach.

Sodwana Bay is south of the Tropic of Capricorn and hosts one of the most southerly and beautiful hard and soft coral reefs in the world and offers you some of the most spectacular diving in the world.

As much as Sodwana is a haven for scuba diving enthusiasts, the area does offer quite a bit for people not really into close encounters with sharks. Be it fishing, bird watching, horse riding, game watching or getting a sun tan, then Sodwana will not leave you disappointed. With Hluhluwe and Richards Bay just a short drive away on a full tarmac road, the lodge is easily accessible.

Accommodation

Mseni Lodge is known as Sodwana Bay’s best kept secret.  Located just 10 minutes from the main gate and has miles and miles of unspoilt beach on one side and pure African bush on the other.  

 

Cabins are hidden away in lush dune forest and offers a choice of self-catering or Bed & Breakfast.  There are 15 cabins with the option of 2,3 or 5 beds.  All cabins have a Master bedroom with double or twin beds with a bathroom & shower en-suite. All rooms are serviced daily and equipped with safety deposit boxes, linen, bath towels, tea making facilities and variable speed fans.  Please bring your own beach towels.  

 

Our self-catering units include a small kitchenette, fridge/freezer combination and an outside Braai area.

 

Mzimbete Guest House is an 8 sleeper unit overlooking the ocean and has a fully equipped kitchen and small laundry which makes it ideal for the larger family.  

 

Meals are catered for by the Restaurant and Pub which overlooks the Indian Ocean.  The Restaurant is open from 07h00 till 11h00 for breakfast and pub lunches are served throughout the day. Dinner is served from an a la Carte menu from 19h00 till 21h45.  A kiddies menu is available for our smaller guests.
