Description

Rocktail Beach Camp is located in the Maputaland Coastal Forest Reserve in northern Kwazulu-Natal, midway between Kosi Bay to the north and Sodwana Bay to the south.

Our new camp is located about 30 minutes drive from Rocktail Bay Lodge and is situated at the current Rocktail Dive Centre. Similar to Rocktail Bay Lodge, the camp is not located right on the beach sand, but rather back in the forest, however most rooms will have an ocean view and guests will be able to see the beach from there.

ACCESS is the same as at Rocktail Bay Lodge, in that guests can self drive in a 4x4 all the way to the camp, or they can drive a standard vehicle to the Coastal Cashews rendezvous point from where they will be transferred at the scheduled times (10h30, 14h00 or 16h00) or they can charter into the Manzengwenya airstrip. As for Rocktail Bay Lodge a transfer fee will be levied if guests cannot comply with the above scheduled times at Coastal Cashews.
