[[IMAGE(chelane)right]]Hi! My name is Chelane. I am 22 years old. I grew up in a loving and respectful family. My dad is a minister, my mum is a schoolteacher and I am very close to my three sisters. My hobbies are dancing and scrap booking. I enjoy change and will adapt to any circumstance to the best of my ability. My career as an Au Pair began just after I started baby- sitting as a teenager and that is when I realized how much I loved children. I thought I would just be called upon to baby-sit, but my life changed into that of a child-minder when I met a young single mother for whom I began to au pair. I looked after her two-year-old little boy. I learnt everything from changing nappies to potty training. Since then I have au paired for other families with children aged from two to fourteen and that is how I got to where I am today, loving life as an au pair. [[IMAGE(chelane4)left]]Choosing me to accompany you on your African Safari is an opportunity, an experience and loads of fun not only for me, but also for your family. I’m very curious and interested in learning about other families and their cultures; most importantly I love spending time with children. I also believe in fairness even in the most difficult circumstances. I have a bubbly personality and my dream is to see as much of the world as I can. Sometimes, having the world come to you is better! [[IMAGE(chelane2)right]]I am South African and as your Au Pair here in Africa, I hope to add to the safari experience your children will have. Some Game reserves do not allow little children on the same game drives that the older children and adults go on. I’ll make sure their wildlife safari is full of adventure! I’ll play as many games, read and tell stories or watch DVD’s with your child or children as will be necessary for you to have a relaxing bath under Africa skies, or to enjoy a romantic dinner for two. I’ll also stand aside when you have your family time. [[IMAGE(chelane1)right]]If you have an Au Pair, you can either bring him/her with you and allow them to safari with you whilst I take up his/her duties, or it may be time that your Au pair takes time off to relax and I will do my best to fill his/her shoes although I am an unique individual and that is perhaps why I would like to talk over the phone or correspond with you before your Africa safari, so that we can get to know each other a little better before your arrival. [[IMAGE(chelane-bella)left]]If you do not have an Au pair then what a treat I’ll be! You may want to take more safaris with us sooner than you think! I’ll be there to keep a watchful eye and I would like to add to the wonderful experience you will have in Africa! Please contact us to make arrangements. |
