| Sabi Sands, a name I have heard much passed over lips of guests who have experienced the ultimate safari in comfort combined with the best game-viewing experiences. Although there are a number of luxurious camps in the reserve, guests still have the privilege of traversing in pristine wilderness. The reserve shares at least 26 kilometres with the Kruger National Park and there are over 200 species of mammals with an even greater count of bird species to match the grassland, rocky outcrops, thick riverine forest and the acacia and combretum bushveld. The Sand River flows north-south in these parts and because Sabi Sands is located on the south-western corner of the Kruger National Park, with no restricting fences, the animals are free to roam just as nature intended. The 65 000 hectare Reserve offers a spectacular African safari experience. Luxury Lodges in the Sabi Sand Reserve: |
